Il Ritmo della Tempesta - Janus Torres
Still here as my train of thought gently goes astray
With its broken pieces upon these empty streets;
As these moments of bliss suddenly drift away
With the pouring rain clamoring on these steel sheets.
Stuck here as my sanity’s floating aimlessly
As the deluge proceeds and recedes with the time.
With my skin and bones still echoing painfully,
The ebb and flow of this calamity of mine.
Still here sulking as the rain has me confined;
Accepting this cold merciless silver embrace.
Stuck here while waiting for all the pain to subside.
Pandering this somberness is such a disgrace.
Left enduring all the nonsensical distraught.
Left here to find out that the love was all for naught.
